What is Salvation?
Salvation is God rescuing us from sin and giving us new life through Jesus Christ.
The Bible teaches that every person has sinned and fallen short of God’s holiness. Sin separates us from God and leads to spiritual death.
But God loves us so much that He made a way for us to be forgiven.
Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth, lived a sinless life, and died on the cross to pay the penalty for our sins. Three days later He rose from the dead, proving that He has power over sin and death.
Salvation is not something we earn by being good or doing religious works. It is a gift from God.
When a person turns from their sin, believes in Jesus Christ, and trusts Him as Lord and Savior, God forgives their sins, gives them a new heart, and promises them eternal life.
Romans chapter 10, verse 9 says,
If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Salvation means your past is forgiven, your life is made new, and your future is secure with God.
Jesus said in John chapter 14, verse 6,
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.

How Do I Receive Salvation? The Bible teaches that salvation is received by grace through faith in Jesus Christ.
This means trusting that Jesus died for your sins and rose again, and choosing to turn away from your old life of sin to follow Him.
Ephesians chapter 2, verses 8 and 9 say,
For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing, it is the gift of God, not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Salvation is not about becoming perfect. It is about placing your trust in the One who is perfect.
When a person sincerely comes to Jesus, asks for forgiveness, and chooses to follow Him, God promises to forgive their sins and give them new life.
First John chapter 1, verse 9 says,
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Jesus is ready to receive anyone who comes to Him.
